𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝑻𝒐 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒏 𝑰𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒔.

Simply follow these steps to keep your pieces looking like new for a years to come.

 

~NOT FOOD SAFE! The resin I use isn’t safe to use with food.

~Do NOT use as an ashtray! I can’t stress this enough. I know there are companies that make ashtrays but unless you use a specialist resin that is high temp resistant, resin can give off fumes if it comes with direct high temps. This includes TEA LIGHTS these heat up on the metal base to high.

 ~ AVOID extreme heat! The resin I use is UV resistant. This means it won’t yellow over time, however avoid direct sunlight as prolonged exposure can cause the resin to soften, losing its shape or bending.

 {If you have purchased a sun catcher, choose a spot in un-direct sunlight or if you choose to hang in the window, move when sun is being extreme} 

~Hand wash ONLY. Resin is water resistant, but NOT waterproof. A soft microfiber towel or soft sponge with soapy water is enough to keep them clean. BUT don’t use hot water! 

~NOT dishwasher safe. (See above)

~Use a microfiber cloth to dust/shine. Microfiber towels are soft enough to keep your resin shiny without scratching the surface. 

~Do NOT use harsh or abrasive CLEANERS. Clean using dish liquid or hand soap with luke warm water. Abrasive or harsh cleaners will scratch the surface and dull the item over time. 

~ NOT SHATTER proof. Items are durable and shatter resistant, but not shatter proof. I have dropped resin items resin is a very durable material, but if dropped multiple times it will break. It is possible that it will shatter in several pieces.
